The goals of the GCMS Elementary School Library are:

to cultivate a love of reading;

to provide for students and faculty a broad range of quality and reliable resources;

to ensure that all students become effective users of information;

to encourage all students to become lifelong learners.

The circulation desk where students may check out books and place holds on books.  A corner cabinet has a display area with books students may select to check out and take home.

Students hunt for information on the computer.  The library's complete collection of books and AV resources are listed on the online catalog.

 

 

Students browse for books on the series shelf.  They may also choose from other fiction or non-fiction books.

Students read for pleasure, once books have been selected and checked out.
